Supports two instruments on the table

Specialists can customize their unit table with up to two different devices. In particular, the table can accommodate an autorefractor and a slit lamp, while keeping cables and cords out of the patient’s sight.

Lift Boy System

ℹ Available exclusively on the Verona Sofisticata and Verona Ideale models.

Best of all, there is no need to meticulously realign the equipment every time an adjustment is made, thanks to the innovative mechanics of the Lift Boy system. The specialist can calibrate the Lift Boy to compensate for the height difference between two pieces of equipment used simultaneously. Once the table has been programmed, the physician can switch between devices and the table will automatically rise or lower to the correct working height. These features prevent physicians from having to repeatedly adjust the table and chair when switching equipment, saving valuable time for both the physician and the patient.

Flexibility with Multidimensional Movement

The table offers flexibility through its multidimensional movement. It can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, and also rotates, adapting to both the patient and the specialist. This flexibility in the table’s movement provides patient comfort and reduces repetitive strain on the specialist. The table also features a magnet that prevents accidental movements during patient examinations.

ℹ Vertical movement (up/down) is available only on the Verona Sofisticata and Verona Ideale models. On the Verona Semplice and Verona Elementare models, the table has a fixed height.

During consultations, physicians sometimes need their hands free to perform other tasks; therefore, this unit features an integrated foot pedal that allows electric control of the table’s height (up/down).

Fully mobile for efficient examinations

The chair position can be manually adjusted using a foot pedal. Alternatively, the chair can be raised, lowered, or moved forward and backward easily via the electronic control panel. The chair reclines and features adjustable armrests and footrests for greater patient comfort during examination. The reclining chair is especially useful when the patient requires ophthalmic drops. The chair can also be rotated 90 degrees, allowing the patient to enter and exit the seat with ease.

ℹ In the Verona Elementare model, the chair can only be raised and lowered, and the footrest is fixed.

Wheelchair Accessibility

For patients in wheelchairs or with mobility impairments, the chair can be manually removed. The ophthalmic chair can be moved to the side using its own base plate, in order to make the unit accessible for wheelchair patients.

Footrest and Armrests

The chair features adjustable armrests and footrest, and reclines for greater patient comfort during examinations.

ℹ In the Verona Elementare model, the footrest is fixed.

Lighting

The lighting system of the Verona refraction unit features four easy-to-replace ceiling LED bulbs. Light intensity can be easily adjusted through the intuitive operator control panel. The illumination range provides the patient with comfortable light levels and the specialist with ideal conditions for refraction and examination, enabling the delivery of clinical excellence.

Manual phoropter arm

The Verona Refraction Unit can be customized with the addition of manual phoropter arms. The phoropter arm can be adjusted vertically and has been designed with a weight compensation mechanism. This design feature allows the specialist to operate and move the phoropter with ease and safety.

Pedestal (Optional)

Specialists can opt for an additional pedestal that holds a monitor, leaving more space on the Verona refraction unit table for equipment.

Drawers

The Verona Refraction Unit can be customized with additional storage drawers.
