The NTZ-RET-RX-RC uses bulbs with filaments precision-manufactured to a diameter of 0.05 mm to produce one of the sharpest light beams in the industry. Furthermore, the beam can be easily rotated 360 degrees to quickly and effortlessly measure the patient’s astigmatic axis. Notably, the controls for beam rotation and beam width are independent, meaning an ultra-sharp beam will be maintained under any circumstances.
The device also comes preloaded with the +2D lens (Presbyopic Lens), but the +3D and +1D lenses are available for purchase as optional accessories. The Presbyopic Lens is very comfortable for patients who have presbyopia. With this lens, patients do not need to wear their glasses when performing a retinoscopy.
