Measurement Display
The ELM-BH-PD Measurement Display offers a clear and intuitive interface that consolidates all essential information in a single view. It shows real-time refractive data for the lens — sphere value (S), cylinder (C), axis (A), prism (P), progressive addition (ADD), and pupillary distance (RPD/LPD) — along with a central target indicating the optical center of the lens and a concentric circle system for precise prism readings. The display automatically identifies the lens type, distinguishes between right and left lenses, and allows switching between automatic and manual measurement modes. With quick-access buttons for printing, resetting values, and configuring preferences, the ELM-BH-PD display streamlines workflow and ensures reliable readings with every measurement.

Measurement Data
Displays the following data:
S: Sphere Value
C: Cylinder Value
A: Cylinder Axis
P: Prism Value
ADD: Progressive Addition Value
RPD, LPD: PD Value

Prism Concentric Circle
In the blue zone, from the center outward, there are 7 concentric circles of different sizes. Each circle indicates 1 prism unit — that is, it displays from 1 to 7 prisms.

Measured Lens
Indicates whether the lens being measured is a monocle or a right/left lens.

Cylinder Mark
The cylinder mark is indicated as ‘+’ or ‘-‘ according to the CYLINDER setting in the user menu.

Measurement Steps
Displays steps of 0.01, 0.06, 0.12, or 0.25.

Automatic Measurement
Indicates whether the measurement is performed automatically or manually.

Lens Type
Indicates the type of lens currently being measured.

PD/AO Mode

Target
Indicates the optical center of the lens being measured.

Zoom
Zoom Mode: the target indicates the distance and direction from the center of the nose of the support.
Prism Mode: the target moves according to the prisms, as in an ocular- or projection-type lensometer.

Button to select a user settings mode.

For a single lens, allows toggling between the left and right selection of the mounted lens, or choosing the left/right lens.

Switches the display to the normal measurement screen.

Press this button to start manual measurement.

Press this button to change the CYL (-).

Button to reset the measured data value to ‘0’.

Button to print the measured value.

Measurement of Various Lenses

This automatic lensometer can measure single vision lenses, bifocal (trifocal) lenses, progressive power lenses, and contact lenses.

UV/Blue Light Transmittance Measurement

The measurements performed by the ELM-BH-PD include UV and blue light transmittance, pupillary distance, pupillary height in spectacle frames, and other standard lens measurements. This model uses a 525 nm green light source, close to the international standard wavelength. With this equipment, you can also measure the transmittance of lenses that block blue light from digital devices such as smartphones and LCDs. Two types of display modes are available: UV Transmittance Measurement Mode and Blue Light Transmittance Measurement Mode.

The UV and BLUE data can be displayed in a single graph, allowing the professional to view both trends at a glance.

Measurement of PD and Pupillary Height of Eyeglass Frames

Adjusting the central area of the lens with the direction indicator icon allows you to measure the distance between the centers of the left and right lenses and the pupillary height of the eyeglass frame.

Hartmann Wavefront Sensor Technology (HWFS)

The ELM-BH-PD utilizes cutting-edge Hartmann Wavefront Sensor (HWFS) technology to reduce errors by compensating for light loss, providing accurate results you can rely on.

Automatic Lens Detection Mode

The lensometer can measure double and triple lenses in normal lens mode and includes an automatic lens detection mode. This mode simplifies operation; the ELM-BH-PD automatically determines the lens type and instantly performs the appropriate measurement; no mode selection is required.

LCD Tilt Function

The sharp and well-lit screen can be tilted forward and backward to ensure comfort whether you are sitting or standing, preventing neck and back strain from leaning over the device.

7-inch LCD Touch Screen

The 7-inch TFT-LCD touch screen monitor (800 x 480) is used to perform all operations, allowing test selection with just a few taps on the screen. Once measurements are completed, the results are displayed on the touch screen, and UV and blue light data are presented in a graph for quick evaluation.

Multilingual Support

The system supports six languages: English, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic.

Auto Cutting Printer

Data is stored for future review and can be printed with the integrated automatic cutting thermal printer.

Multiple Interfaces Available (RS-232, Wi-Fi)

The ELM-BH-PD features robust connectivity; users can share data between the lensometer and other Ezer digital ophthalmic instruments using the optional Wi-Fi connectivity module.
