Apertures and Filters

▪ Micro Aperture: allows easy access to very small, undilated pupils.
▪ Small Aperture: provides a simple view of the fundus through an undilated pupil.
▪ Large Aperture: standard aperture for dilated pupils and general eye examination.
▪ Fixation Aperture: allows measurement of eccentric fixation or localization of ocular lesions using its graduated reticle.
▪ Slit Aperture: useful for determining various elevation levels of lesions, particularly tumors and edematous discs.
▪ Cobalt Blue: blue filter used with fluorescein dye to easily visualize small lesions, abrasions, and foreign bodies.
▪ Red-Free Filter: excludes red rays from the examination field to facilitate identification of veins, arteries, and nerve fibers.

The EZ-OPH-3600 ophthalmoscope features a remarkable 3.5V halogen lamp that provides consistent and long-lasting illumination, with a light output that allows true tissue color appreciation.
