Lift Boy System

Best of all, there is no need to meticulously realign the equipment every time an adjustment is made, thanks to the innovative mechanics of the Lift Boy system. The specialist can calibrate the Lift Boy to compensate for the height difference between two pieces of equipment used simultaneously. Once the table has been programmed, the physician can switch between instruments and the table will automatically raise or lower to the correct working height. These features prevent physicians from having to repeatedly adjust the table and chair when switching from one instrument to another. Valuable time is saved for both the physician and the patient.

Table Displacement, Sliding and Rotation
The table can slide and be displaced. It has the ability to rotate horizontally up to a 90° angle and move from side to side. All these features allow adjusting the height, position and patient comfort during the examination.

ℹ Vertical movement (up/down) is available only on the Firenze Sofisticata and Firenze Ideale models. On the Firenze Semplice and Firenze Elementare models the table is fixed height.

Anchor Magnet

The table includes a magnet that will keep it fixed, even when the patient uses it as a support. This additional support will increase patient confidence during required procedures.

Advantages of the Chair for Efficient Testing

The FIRENZE chair movements can be operated from the unit’s control panel. Additionally, it allows the operator to perform manual movements, along with a 90° rotation that provides comfort to the patient. The chair features a reclining function, which is an advantage for the physician to properly position the patient and carry out various ophthalmological procedures, such as the application of ophthalmic drops, to name one example.

ℹ In the Firenze Elementare model, the chair can only move up and down, and the footrest is fixed.

FIRENZE ensures comprehensive patient care. This Refraction Unit features an innovative design that adapts to the needs of patients with limited mobility, who can be lowered more easily thanks to its sliding system, in the event that the use of a wheelchair is required during the examination.

Footrest and Armrests
The chair features adjustable armrests and footrest, and reclines to achieve maximum patient comfort during examinations.

ℹ In the Firenze Elementare model, the footrest is fixed.

Adjustable light intensity Being able to control the light intensity through the operating panel functions of FIRENZE is an advantage for the specialist. This function allows for greater clarity in the environment and, for example, makes it easier to locate a necessary instrument during the examination.

Manual phoropter arm

The customer has the option of requesting the incorporation of a phoropter arm into their FIRENZE unit, which will provide the benefits of the mechanism and compensate for the weight of the already installed phoropter. Once integrated into the unit’s structure, the specialist will be able to position the phoropter arm manually and with greater ease.

Pedestal A pedestal can be added to the unit to place the monitor responsible for controlling the digital phoropter.
